Welcome to the Circular Dorking - Library of Things (LoT)

This community project is a collaborative venture, organised and operated by Circular Dorking and Dorking Library (part of Surrey County Council Library Services).

We believe in the power of community and the value of sharing. Our optional donation Library of Things aims to provide you with access to a wide range of items, tools, and resources that can enhance your life and help reduce waste & excessive consumerism by promoting a culture of sharing and sustainability.

You'll find everything from gardening equipment, DIY tools, board games and kitchen appliances to electronics. All items have been either ethically sourced or generously donated by community members like you, who understand the importance of building a better tomorrow by reusing, repairing and recycling.

We are very grateful to the staff of Dorking Library for managing the storage, pick-up and return of items. However, all other aspects of this service are run by volunteers generously giving their time to the community; please do bear this in mind if things don't always go completely as planned.
